About Me
I am inspired by purpose and motivated by faith. I have built global, high-impact brands at startup, mid-size, and Fortune 50 companies, spanning multiple industries and sectors from big CPG to international development. I’ve managed multi-million dollar P&Ls, revitalized multi-billion dollar iconic brands, and launched early-stage ventures…all with the goal of building organizations that help transform lives.
Is Your Vision Shining Through?
As a CEO, you possess an extraordinary vision capable of addressing some of the world’s most critical needs. Yet, hidden barriers may obstruct the light of that vision from shining through and being fully realized. These barriers, such as a flawed business strategy, ineffective marketing, or limited access to capital, could be hindering your impact.
That’s where I come in. I draw on 25+ years of hands-on experience, blending sharp business acumen with lessons learned, to guide leaders in removing these barriers and ensuring their vision shines brighter than ever.
About Me
I am passionate about building redemptive ventures that help shape a better world. I have connected women and children through the Twist, Lick, and Dunk of an Oreo, democratized retail for the working middle class, raised the cultural awareness of modern day slavery, and created jobs for women in Eastern Africa.
As a senior executive with Mondelēz International, I led the brand and operational strategy for the World's #1 Cookie, OREO, across 100 countries.
As an executive member of the turnaround team for JCPenney, I built a new marketing platform to revitalize the $12 billion dollar, 100-year-old iconic brand.
As Head of Marketing Strategy & Communications for International Justice Mission, I spearheaded the global brand efforts for the largest anti-slavery organization in the world.
As CEO of Akola, I transformed a 12-year-old non-profit into a luxury brand and retail enterprise that gives employment to marginalized women in Eastern Africa. Akola was named a top sustainable jewelry brand by Vogue in 2020 and recently name a top sustainable jewelry brand by Oprah Daily.
My experience leading big and small businesses across multiple sectors and geographies has formed deep expertise in brand strategy, P&L management, global operations, organizational effectiveness, and market disruption. It’s through these experiences that I help equip CEOs to build and scale ventures that can transform lives and communities.
I am a board member for Redeemer City to City, a global faith-based organization founded by Tim Keller and Lion’s Den DFW, an organization bringing together faith-driven investors and entrepreneurs. I am also a mentor for the Praxis Redemptive Venture Accelerator. I am passionate about speaking on the principles of effective leadership and brand building. My work has been recognized by outlets such as Forbes and Entrepreneur and I was featured on InStyle Magazine’s 2021 list of “50 Women Making The World A Better Place”. I hold an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
